His movie Let Me Not returned dividends to investors in it’s first year of release, after a sale to Australia’s top broadcaster, the National Nine Network, (5 broadcasts over 5 years, prime time).
Award-winning Producer of new movie Suite For Fleur, Ron Brown has been a film and television producer and director for more than 35 years. In that time he has owned and operated his own company, produced 1000 films and videos, won numerous prizes, awards and citations and controlled the budgets, casts and crews of every one of his productions, representing millions of dollars and literally thousands of cast and crew members cumulatively.
He is multi-skilled, having been employed in the film and television industry by top television networks, production companies, advertising and public relations agencies as well as direct to large corporations such as ICI/Orica, BHP, James Hardy, CSR, BTR-Nylex, Telstra, Microsoft, DuPont, V-Line, The Met, state and federal government departments and dozens of others.
He is a highly skilled and industry recognised writer, director, cameraman, editor, sound engineer, music supervisor and producer. Brown has previously worked on a number of Australian and international feature movies and television series, including the groundbreaking Mad Max. He produced, co-directed, edited and music supervised the movie Let Me Not.
On the quality side, Brown has created, produced and directed hundreds of high quality productions from 30 second tv commercials to feature movies. His current television series The Chefs Of The Great Hotels Of The World includes episodes filmed with the participation of The Peninsula Hotel Hong Kong, The Ritz Hotel Madrid, The Savoy Hotel London, The Raffles Singapore and more than twenty other 5-star luxury hotels around the world. The series is currently seen in nearly 40 countries.
